Just sort of very confused with this game news article titled "Splinter Cell: Conviction Pre-Order Shotgun Revealed"...

And the article begins ...

"Anyone growing weary of the 900 million pre-order bonuses currently available will be pleased with this. Now Splinter Cell: Conviction is getting in on the act, offering an exclusive pre-order weapon for the game. Ubisoft has announced that pre-orders will be rewarded with a SPAS-12 Suppressor Shotgun [......]"

And here I was thinking ... "What? Surely that's quite illegal to provide a shotgun with the game... Surely they mean a model of the gun?..."

It wasn't until I scrolled all the way down and saw the screenshot of the Youtube video that I realised they were referring to a shotgun for the use in the game... I don't know how I managed think it was a real-life shotgun. Oh well, it's been a long day.

Beautiful album by the Welsh band. If you are not me, who likes heavy music, try listening to "Where We Belong". It's very catchy. Great song.

Being as much as a geek as I am, I'm now trying out the new Microsoft Office 2010 (beta). The big selling point is the so-called "cloud" service (popularised by Google, of course), where you save documents directly onto the internet, so you haven't got to go through all the fuss of bringing a USB and all that.

On the other hand, I have also discovered this feature I am using right now – that is to publish blog entries directly through Microsoft Word. I hope this works… J
